Data sources - official Lithuanian registers behind FERMOS.LT

All data on FERMOS.LT comes from official Lithuanian state registers and open-data portals. Nothing is bought from intermediaries. For each source below: the institution that publishes it, what we take, how often we re-read it, when it was last checked, and how its records are attached to farm and company profiles.

Reading the dates

"Source last checked" is the date of the last successful import run; "data up to" is the newest date found in the data itself. A source can be checked recently yet still end at an older date when the institution has not published anything newer - such sources are flagged. Each source has its own cadence, from daily to yearly, matching how often the primary register changes. Historical records are kept: expired calls and older reports remain as history.

How we handle the data

Public sources only

We use only officially published, public state data. We never buy or collect data from unofficial intermediaries.

Privacy at import

When a source masks a natural person's data or publishes a recipient only as a code, we do not reveal it or link it to a person. The privacy boundary is applied when data is imported, not only in the interface. See the privacy policy.

Transparent linking

Sources are linked by legal entity code; when a source does not publish one, by name (sometimes together with the municipality). A name match is not proof of identity, so every link carries a confidence mark and can be reversed. Spotted an error? Tell us and we will correct it.

Use the data

The data belongs to its publishers and is used under open-data terms. FERMOS.LT is not a state institution and does not guarantee the accuracy of the primary registers; always check the official source before making decisions. Lithuanian version: Duomenų šaltiniai.
